Privacy Policy
Short version: your images never leave your device. The page itself does load Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and this page says exactly what that means.
Your images
Every tool on QuickImg runs in your browser. Images you open are decoded, processed and saved back on your own device. They are never uploaded to QuickImg or to anyone else, and we never see them, store them or transmit them.
This is not a promise about intent — there is no upload code. You can confirm it by opening your browser’s network panel while you use a tool.
What the page downloads
The AI tools (Upscale Image, Remove Background) download a model the first time you use them. That download goes to huggingface.co, which will see your IP address as any file download would. The model then runs on your device; your image is not part of that request.
Some tools also load code libraries from cdn.jsdelivr.net, cdnjs.cloudflare.com or esm.sh. Web fonts are served from QuickImg itself, so no font request reaches a third party.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools get used. It works by setting cookies in your browser that hold a randomly generated identifier, and by sending Google the page you are on, a truncated version of your IP address (IP anonymisation is enabled), and basic details of your device, browser and approximate region. Google processes that data on our behalf and aggregates it into the reports we see; we cannot identify you from it, and we never send your images or file names.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics storage is denied until you consent, so no analytics cookie is written before you answer. More on how Google handles data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com.
Advertising
QuickImg is free and carries ads through Google AdSense. AdSense may set cookies to measure and personalise ads.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ad storage, ad personalisation and ad user data are all denied by default, and a consent message asks you before anything is stored. If you decline, ads may still appear but are not personalised.
What is stored on your device
Three values are kept in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers your preferences. They are not sent anywhere:
qi-theme— light or dark modeqi-lang-choice— the language you pickedqi-lang-banner-dismissed— whether you closed the language banner
Downloaded AI models are also cached by your browser so you do not fetch them twice. Clearing site data removes all of this.
Your choices
If you are in a region where the consent message appears, you can reopen it and change your answer at any time through the privacy options link the message provides.
You can also clear site data in your browser to remove stored preferences and cached models, or block ad and analytics domains — the tools keep working either way, because they do not depend on them.
Children
QuickImg is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Questions about privacy can be raised through the repository linked in the footer of the site.
